Ripples

This snapshot would be of my little sister Sasha from last summer out on the boat. I took this then edited both the brightness & the contrast in it. This snapshot is one of my favorites because of how the water ripples look & how they give off that little bit of color. I also placed the subject matter (my little sister) slightly off-center so that the ripples floating away from her would also bring the attention to the rest of the photo. Enjoy. :)

Untitled

I took this while staying with my dad for the weekend. I took it out of boredom, but after editing it I ended up liking it a lot. I edited the contrast but left the brightness alone. I like the color of the wood on the wall & how the trim of the window is done. I especially like how it has that vintage-like feel to it. Any suggestions for a title would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy. :)

Making A Splash

This is a snapshot that was again taken while on the boat with my family this past summer. My sister was excited to be the first one to get in the water so I took this snapshot for her at the last second. Afterwards I edited the brightness & the contrast in this photo to make it a tad more interesting. By far one of the funniest photos I've taken. Enjoy. :)

Watchdog

I took this in the fall of last year during the Fall Festival of Leaves. I like this one because Skamp is standing & alert, makingthe photo more interesting than if he was just laying down or sleeping. The subject in this picture (Skamp, the cairn terrier) is keeping an eye out for 'wild beasts' as my grandma likes to put it. This one is also edited in black & white, simply because it is my favorite color choice for a photograph. Enjoy. :)

Summer Reads

I recently stumbled upon this photograph while cleaning out the folders on my laptop. This photo wasn't taken by me, but by my mom while hanging out at the city pool this past July. I like this mostly because of it's edited color & lighting. I'm a big fan of black & white photos. I think this one is interesting because the main point (my body itself) lies horizontally, drawing focus to the left of the photo as well as the right. I especially like the back ground of the fence and the cars in my photo. Enjoy. :)

A Dinergirl & A Ladybug

I took this last year prior to going trick-or treating with a little girl I babysat at the time. I especially like the lighting in this photograph. My favorite part about this photograph is that it was taken in the fall which in my opinion, is the most beautiful time of year. This photograph has been posted in its original state; it has not been edited. Enjoy. :)
